We love New York!

That simple.  The NY rock gods have been w/ the Broomstars since arriving Thursday night.  We drove across the NY bay into Brooklyn during a beautiful sunset.  An amazing backdrop to lady liberty.  We pulled up on a crowded Bedford Ave to find two open parking spaces right in front of  The Charleston where we played Thursday night. Enough room for the vehicle & trailer!   Jason brought his good parking karma with him for sure! What a show that night.  Thanks to other bands for a great night. A special thanks to Lochlan from Morgan Ave who took amazing care of us.

Friday afternoon we hit Main Drag music store where Clayton timed it right!  The DW drum rep was there and hooked Clay up w/ some free replacement parts.  Jared got to reintroduce himself to the owner as they met some time ago when Jared repped Moog. Main Drag is a killer vintage music store!

The band rolled into Greenwich Village last night for what seemed like a home coming for Jason & Jeff at Kenny's Castaways. Lots of family and old friends in attendance.  The club was JUMPIN'!  The room sounded  awesome.

Tonight... Olive's in Nyack.  Time to roll...................

Good times at The Lantern in Blacksburg, VA

Hi Broomies fans! We kicked off the first night of our mini tour at The Lantern in Blacksburg, VA. For a Wednesday night we an enthusiastic crowd. It was great to see Clayton's Uncle Mark and Lyndy there! Thanks to Bitter Hill and The Situationists for hosting us and rocking out with us. If you are ever in Blacksburg, check out The Lantern. They are really supportve and located RIGHT NEXT TO campus.
On a serious note, we are here on the anniversary of the tragic shooting that happened here last year. Classes are not in session today and many are taking time to remember those who were affected by the terrible events of that day. The V. Tech crowd seems in good spirits, out and about last night, and doing their thing. You go, people!
We head to Brooklyn today, a long leg of the trip, but we are really looking forward to sharing some music with the fine people of Williamsburg. We are psyched to play The Charleston and meet some new bands and FANS! Some of our families and friends will be in the crowd also, so that will be double the coolness. If you're in town, come check us out at The Charleston!
Love to all!
